The Brief

How do you position Beyond Bouldering as South Australia’s ultimate climbing destination?

Beyond Bouldering is created by South Australian boulderers for South Australian boulderers of all levels. Everyone is welcome. 

With the launch of its new world class gym in Thebarton, the team wanted to get its existing, and potential new members, excited. 

We built on the brand’s recently developed identity, to create a campaign platform that put Beyond Bouldering top of mind for climbers,  as well as a new wave of fitness enthusiasts.

If you’re into bouldering, for the first time or the five hundredth, there’s no place like Beyond Bouldering. It’s designed by the best in the sport. It’s South Australia’s largest climbing community. It’s a space where you can be you. Simply put, Beyond Bouldering is the boulder place to be.

The campaign was led by bold outdoor advertising plastered around the city.

A striking visual execution put climbers, the sport and the brand, front and centre.

We worked with climbers from Beyond Bouldering to create a series of stop-motion films that showed off their skills, and showcased the sport in action. Social and digital ads drove the conversation online and took people to a dedicated sign up page.

The campaign received over a million impressions and generated a whole lot of excitement and intrigue around Beyond Bouldering’s new Thebarton gym.
