Paul Nelson

Founder of BrandMatters – a Sydney-based research-informed brand strategy agency, acquired by Fuller in 2023 – Paul is now Director of Consulting in our Sydney office. An accomplished brand strategist and international client-side marketer, Paul oversees the development of client relationships, and new business in Fuller’s Sydney office, while also continuing his consulting work in brand strategy.

Paul has led significant brand and marketing projects for major organisations and brands, including Wesfarmers Group Company’s, Metcash, Fidelity, Perpetual, Mercer, NAB Group and a variety of brands across the Professional Services, IT, Healthcare and Education sectors. Prior to founding BrandMatters, Paul held various senior marketing roles at McDonald’s, was the Marketing Director at Tip Top Bakeries and Head of Global Brand at AMP. Paul is a also a frequent media commentator and thought leader across mainstream and marketing media.
