FULLER named top medium sized agency in Australia

We are beside ourselves with excitement to announce that FULLER has taken out the national award for Consultancy of the Year at the prestigious 2017 Public Relations Institute of Australia Golden Target awards, at the Sydney Opera House last night.

After winning the state award last month, FULLER was named Australia’s mid-sized Consultancy of the Year (10-29 staff) ahead of an esteemed group of agencies at the national awards.

As a full-service agency with more than 20 staff, FULLER was recognised for its business achievements in 2016-2017, which included an expansion strategy to strengthen our integrated brand communication offering.

“Last year we appointed three new specialists – a Digital Marketing Strategist, Visual Content Creator and Brand Director – as well as achieving our financial, HR and marketing targets,” said FULLER Managing Director Peter Fuller.

“We were proud to achieve this in a tough economic environment, and it is extremely encouraging to have our efforts recognised on the national stage.

“This recognition cements our reputation as one of Australia’s leading agencies.”

In 2016/17 FULLER also broadened its content marketing services to a greater number of high-profile clients, complementing our traditional public relations offering.

“Content marketing brings together our experience in journalism, content creation and story telling, with our skills and knowledge in digital marketing. It’s a specialisation we’ve been building over a number of years now,” Peter said.

“Businesses are hungry for information and ideas about how they can harness the power of digital channels to drive more targeted, measureable campaigns on smaller budgets.

“And more businesses are starting to understand that engaging, relevant and authentic content is a key component of a successful digital strategy.

“We thank our many clients for partnering with us and trusting us to deliver contemporary communication solutions to their business challenges, which has enabled FULLER to grow and evolve to where we are today,” he said.

The Golden Target Awards are the public relations industry’s longest-running and most prestigious awards, recognising industry excellence.

“Winning a Golden Target Award is an amazing achievement, even more so in 2017 considering that this year we have received the highest number of entries in the history of the Golden Target Awards,” said Anne Howard, Chief Executive Officer, Public Relations Institute of Australia.

“This is also the first year in 41 years that the Awards have been open to the entire PR and communication industry.

“We received an enormous amount of truly high-quality submissions and the competition has been fiercer than ever,” she said.

FULLER is the only family owned communication agency in South Australia with five Fullers currently working in the 22-person team. Our Agency Director, Will Fuller, took part ownership of the business in July 2017.
