Refreshed brand and website gives new energy to a trusted electricity provider.

The Brief

Create a new brand and website to reflect Savant Energy’s renewed focus on sustainable energy solutions.

Long-time Fuller client and one of South Australia’s largest and most trusted embedded network providers, Savant Energy, came under new ownership in mid-2022.

The new ownership structure provided Savant Energy with a stronger focus on renewable energy, and it challenged Fuller to develop a new brand and website which more fully reflected this new positioning.

The new brand and website needed to speak to its diverse audiences, ranging from business clients who implement embedded networks in their facilities, through to private customers who pay their bills through Savant Energy.

The industry can be complex and technical, so it was essential to create a brand and website that was simple and engaging, while speaking to Savant Energy’s vision of creating sustainable communities.


Our brand strategy process revealed that sustainability and service were the two key attributes that would underpin the Savant Energy brand moving forward.

A MORE SUSTAINABLE DIRECTION

Previously using a blue and white primary colour palette, we transitioned the brand towards a more ‘sustainable’ direction with the use of varying shades of green, while modernising the brand with bright accents, including neon greens and a vivid yellow.

The new Savant Energy symbol is an abstract interpretation of an ‘S’, while representing the flow of energy through a network.

CONNECTING WITH COMMUNITIES

Refreshed brand messaging focussed on the role that Savant Energy plays in building communities through its infrastructure which is primarily used in apartment buildings, retirement villages, shopping centres and strata communities. The previous tagline ‘’Sustainable Utility Solutions’ was softened to ‘Creating Sustainable Communities’.

In addition to the brand, Savant Energy required a new website that better served the needs of the business and its diverse audiences.

 

We worked closely with the Savant team to understand the specific requirements of each audience, as well as how the website could contribute to its future business objectives.

The outcome was a recommendation to consolidate its two current websites (business to business and customer sites) into a single website.

The new website enables Savant Energy to showcase its solutions to prospective partners, while also allowing private customers to simply connect and manage their utility services.
