Peter Fuller -Managing Director

Formerly a rural journalist, Peter started communicating about the Australian wine industry on the eve of its boom in 1986 – as a viticultural writer moving onto become a newspaper and magazine editor and a wine columnist. In 1993 he launched FULLER, a consultancy dedicated to integrated marketing communication with a focus on wine – in all its guises – as well as related industries such as agriculture and the environment.

Although the core of FULLER was, and continues to be, the well-written word Peter has strategically built a company over nearly 25 years which encompasses every communication channel – from graphic design and digital engineering to social media and App development. He has also expanded the portfolio of clients to include sectors such as innovation and technology, fisheries and seafood, manufacturing, mining, higher education, retail and water resources management.

Constantly challenging business and organisational clients to see beyond the obvious marketing or public relations solution, he is a creative problem solver and idea generator, providing a mix of big picture strategic thinking and practical suggestions.

Career highlights include entrepreneuring the Australian Wine Marketing Conference and International Shiraz Alliance, developing Adelaide the Wine Capital of Australia brand and authoring history books on the Barossa, St Hallett, Yalumba and Peter Lehmann Wines. 

In my spare time

On his days off Peter looks after a very small patch of 100 year old Shiraz vines in the Barossa, plays an understated game of golf at Tanunda Royal Pines and continues to ponder the blank screen of his first novel.
