The Brief

When you have 50 offices spread across 20 countries, how do you ensure that all staff are pulling in the same direction and providing a consistent brand experience to clients and customers?

That was the challenge for EduCo – a global education leader with a diverse and geographically dispersed business. EduCo operates higher education campuses, places right-fit students into universities throughout the world and partners with universities to help them reach a global audience.

With such a varied operational footprint spanning the globe, the challenge for EduCo was ensuring all staff were aligned to the brand, and were consistently representing it in their interactions with students, parents, universities, Governments and other stakeholders.

EduCo called on Fuller to immerse ourselves in their business, establish the essence of their brand and set the playbook for their hundreds of staff to follow in the future.

UNLOCKING A REASON FOR BEING

Through our brand strategy process, we established that EduCo’s point of difference was its network of global connections at every stage and level of the higher education continuum.

This enables it to take an individual ‘right-fit’ approach to every student and personalise their education experience, ensuring the greatest opportunity for education and career success.

Based on this insight, we developed the tagline ‘Education Connected’, giving new meaning to EduCo’s name, and more importantly, articulating its offer.

GLOBAL IMMERSION

Fuller staff undertook a global immersion into EduCo’s business, travelling to partner institutions in the United States, the United Kingdom and throughout Australia, to understand its relationship focussed, personal approach. This ensured institutions were promoted accurately on the world stage, and students were matched to facilities that would give them the best chance of success.

Following the immersion, Fuller developed the brand messaging for EduCo, providing the vision that would unite staff. At the same time, we developed positioning statements for each of the partner universities to ensure their unique education and lifestyle benefits were communicated to the market.

DIGITAL CENTREPIECE

The development of a new website, which would provide a central touchpoint for EduCo’s broad range of audiences, was another communication priority.
